Squat

  • 227.5lbs: 10,10,10

Overhead Press

  • 187.5lbs: 5,5,5
    • Power cleaned the bar into position

Notes

The Olympic bar I picked up from Kijiji doesn't fit into the J-hooks of my power rack properly (the distance between the sleeves of the bar is 50", but the width of the rack is 51"). I ended up using the band pegs instead to support the bar (pictured below).

Band pegs as j-hooks

I'm not sure how much weight this can handle, so I only went up to a meager 227.5lbs, but increased the number of reps/set to 10.

I've ordered the Rogue B&R bar that should be able to fit inside my wide-ass power rack (the bar is 51.5" in between the sleeves). Can't wait for it to be delivered!

Ever since I started taking strength training seriously, I was bitten by the Iron Bug. Then it burrowed under my skin and laid eggs in my heart. Now those eggs are hatching and I... the feeling is indescribable.
