  1. Hey John- just want to send you a shoutout for turning me on to the Texas Method. I only know about it because you randomly started following me on Twitter. I’ve been training under this style for about 3 months now and the results have been great! Also, what do you think of 5/3/1? I read about that the other day and that method looks enticing, as well.

    • Hey John,

I haven’t tried 5/3/1 myself, simply because Texas Method is already working for me. I’m the type of person who won’t fix what’s not broken, so chances are I won’t be changing programs anytime soon.

If your results with TM are going great, why change it?

But if you do change, I’d love to hear how it works for you!

      • Good point. I only plan on changing it if/when I start to plateau with the Texas Method.

Will definitely let you know how it goes, should that day occur.
