Some "must read" articles I've come across this past week:

  1. Perseverance & Persistence by Nicholas Bronkall
  2. Tips From the Future by TC Luoma
  3. 10 Rules to Keep Your Man Card Up by SAPT Strength
  4. Deep Squatting Tips by Anthony Mychal
  5. Chuck Norris Guide to Life Domination by Nerd Fitness

Squat

  • 360lbs: 5

Overhead Press

  • 207.5lbs: 1,1,1
    • 1st set: heard (and felt) something similar to a knuckles cracking from my clavical

Deadlift

  • 317.5lbs: 3
    • Mixed grip, felt pain in my left wrist
  • 317.5lbs: 5
    • Double overhand grip. No pain in the left wrist

Notes

  • Haven't done heavy standing overhead presses since I was a member at Columbia Lake Health Club. It's been a while...
  • Deadlifts: going to start off light and move up from here. Now that I train in my basement home gym, I have my own bar & chalk (didn't use chalk today) so I'm going to be deadlifting without straps. Doing sets of 5 to develop my grip strength.

Hilarious!

Front Squat

  • 227.5lbs: 3,3,3,3,3

Bench Press

  • 227.5lbs: 5,5,5

Fatgripz Pull Ups with Knees Raised

  • Bodyweight (190lbs): 6,5,6,5,5

Notes

I don't have a proper scale yet, so I weighed myself with the Wii Fit.

  • 322.5lbs: 5,5,5,5,5

Overhead Press

  • 187.5lbs: 4,1
