Notes:

  • Front squatted for the first time ever. Wrists & forearm flexibility will take some time to get used to.
  • Since this is  a new movement for me, even 185lbs felt a bit too much so I dropped down to 155lbs.
  • I'll be increasing the weight by 10lbs per week to start.

After a 1 week break to recover from jet lag, I'm finally back at the gym! Time to get back into the swing of things...

Power Clean

Squat

Notes

Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) seemed to kick in after the 1 set of squats :/

Power Clean

Military Press

  • 82.5 kg (181.5lbs): 5,5,5

Notes:

  • Felt some pain below my right patella, so I used 2 wrist wraps as knee wrap.

Notes:

  • Hit personal records (PR's) today on all lifts!
  • Workout lasted 2+ hours
  • Feel fresh after workout, can probably do 30 minutes of pads training.

Squat

  • PR (+5kg)
  • Saw stars on the second set
  • All sets - struggle half way, then seems to shoot up
  • Need to fight to finish the rep

Press

  • PR (+5kg)
  • Failed 3rd set, 2 attempts

Deadlift

  • PR (+5kg)
  • Failed 2nd set, 2nd rep
  • Feel gassed after 1 rep
