High Bar Squat

Felt pretty strong on the squat today. No back pain.

  • 45lbs: 20
  • 140lbs: 10
  • 190lbs: 5
  • 230lbs: 5
  • 280lbs: 3
  • 340lbs: 3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3
    • About 2.5 minutes in between sets
  • 320lbs: 6

Face Pulls

  • 60lbs 10
  • 70lbs: 10

Bench Press

Last time I did bench presses for sets of 5 reps was at 267.5lbs (7 sets).

Thought 270lbs for 5x5 would have been manageable.

  • 140lbs: 5
  • 190lbs: 3
  • 230lbs: 3
  • 270lbs: 5,5,5,5,3
    • Failed on the last set, 4th rep attempt. Knew I should have went lighter!

Smolov Jr for bench press - PR day. Missed at 350lbs, then hit 340lbs. Tried 350lbs again, but was pinned.

    • Failed! Dammit.

    • I knew I couldn't get the 2nd rep on the last 2 sets, so settled for 1.
